Liese Sherwood-Fabre
Liese Sherwood-Fabre knew she was destined to write when she got an A+ for her story about Dick, Jane, and Sally’s ruined picnic in the second grade. After obtaining her PhD from Indiana University, she joined the federal government and had the opportunity to work and live internationally for more than fifteen years. She has pursued a writing career for about thirty years, garnering numerous awards for her pieces, including a Pushcart Prize nomination, and several CIBA awards for her mysteries, essays, and middle-grade fiction. Her Sherlock Holmes-based fiction and non-fiction led to her investiture in the esteemed Baker Street Irregulars Society.
